How are you at wrapping gifts? My Mum’s friend dedicates a whole room to wrapping around Christmas time. And no, she’s not friends with the Spellings (Joan is posh and she did used to work in a department store, though).

We were sent this lovely wrapping paper from online family-run stationary company The Paperie, which in theory means that even I can make my gifts look nice.

These two vintage-look patterns are part of a broader collection of papers that are billed as Gift Wrap and Posters (see here). Having seen them in the flesh I can honestly say they are nice enough for your wall. The map has been unrolled at the perfect time for my 4-year-old who’s suddenly interested in where countries are and it might be just the thing to cover that rip in his wallpaper.
