Trend or travesty: colour headache
I didn’t go to Design Week. I had a nasty cold and in a fit of sick-person pique told My Friend I hated design anyway. So instead I’ve had to visit a few blogs to get the gist. A few things caught my eye and I’m proclaiming a new trend! It’s Multicoloured Mental and I’m loving it.
Exhibit A:
Circus wallpaper from Cole & Son’s Geometric collection. This is the first wallpaper that I’ve loved for ages. It strikes me as the perfect way to drag my grey, yellow and pink living room out for Designer’s Guild tastefulness and into… the future.
Exhibit B:
Anthony Hartley’s Edna sideboard.
Exhibit C:
Sonya Winner’s crazy kaleidoscope rugs, as modeled here by a friend of The Anti-Stylist.
That’s three things, so I can officially claim a… trend!
Cole & Son also have a new paper called Maya – a zig-zag red and black print, it looks like a Hoxton hangover. But that’s a trend for another post…
