Tickled pink
Today’s post is about my fleeting obsession with pink. Not the singer.
After weeks of pondering I finally bought an elegant little set of drawers on legs from the local junk pusher. Delightfully, having got it home (that’s another story) I found that what, in the gloom of the junk-a-teria, I thought was off-white, turns out to be a lovely pale shade of blush pink. It fits perfectly the alcove in my bathroom and houses the towels. I love it – I keep nipping in there to check it’s as nice as I remembered. I also find myself wondering what else in the flat I can paint pink…
Above, pink picks from Bloesem, Yvestown and Interior Divine. And just to clarify, this pink I’m thinking of is soft and subtle, not the full-on Cartland pink exhibited below. Although, hello, isn’t her place looking rather chic? A discussion for another post, perhaps.
I love pink! It is such a happy colour, I’m sure it has been proved that it makes you happy although when I tried to look in Google, I didn’t find a thing!
Loving the subtle shades of ballet shoe pink… but you tantalise us by not showing your actual cabinet! I want to see it!
