The Chromologist: exploring colour online
We’re terrible at keeping secrets. Jill once said I was the most indiscreet person she’d ever met. But we have been keeping a secret here at MFH, for months and months. At last we can tell you about it.
This week sees the launch of a brand new online interiors magazine called The Chromologist. 18 months in the planning, we’ve been involved from the start in this ambitious launch. It’s a total celebration of colour, featuring not just homes and decorating ideas but also stories about colour in culture, art, photography and the world at large. And we’re thrilled to be regular contributors, writing stories for the site which is updated daily. The site is the baby of paint brand Farrow & Ball, and we’re delighted to be working alongside their own talented team of creative colour experts to produce the magazine.
Unsurprisingly we’ve been talking, thinking and dreaming colour since we started the project. Everything we look at seems to have a colour angle. The first image is Jill talking about an award-winning war photographer working in… pink. We’ve had a great time thinking of colourful features – we hope you’ll check out The Chromologist and let us know what you think.
