no, you big hippy, not the Carole King album. Though I like that too. No, I’m talking about needlepoint, embroidering, bitchin’ stitchin’.

I love RE’s collection of cushions and chairs in vintage needlepoint – hours of work and creative instincts, that otherwise would have sat unloved in the charity shop. I think the key to this look, for what it’s worth, is in volume. The above arrangement looks brilliant, but not sure I’m out there enough to just go with a solitary embroidered lion’s face on my sofa. Safety in numbers.
