I love blogs that are really specific, and some of my favourites are ones documenting shop fronts. This one – SouthernFriedLondon.com – hits the spot on many levels, focusing on chicken shops in south east London. I don’t even eat fried chicken* but I know each and every one of these pretty well, having lived close to one and above another.*

It’s sociological. It’s zoological. It’s anthropological. It’s great that someone is documenting the variety, and sameness of these businesses. I don’t have the singularness of purpose to create a blog on just one thing, but I couldn’t resist snapping this one-off local business while out the other day. I’d love to know what their technique is, but I guess I never will.
