Spring is here at My Friend’s House. The evidence? Well I washed the shower curtain and hung it up to dry outside. And I did the tiniest bit of home improvement, the first in months. I hung up a picture. Yes.

I’m sure you’ll agree that there is nothing more likely to cause arguments fun than deciding with your partner where to hang a picture. But I hung this picture alone, and I think it shows. It looks a bit titchy in the space, and it’s rather too high up. But what the hell, it’s up there now, and a cricked neck will be a small price to pay for admiring it from my desk.

It’s a periodic table of the elements, taken from a Disney Encyclopedia bought in a junk shop. In case you couldn’t tell that from the long-distance shot.
