A rare moment when I’ve bought something I want for someone else. Not that I’ve handed it over yet, mind. I was very pleased to happen upon this charming drawing in Magma that seems perfect as a wedding present for some bike enthusiast friends of mine. Did I mention I hadn’t handed it over yet? I have endeavored to find out more about the artist though, Nigel Peake, and can report that he has a blog. Its mainly full of lovely examples of his work, plus scenes of inspiration. The Magma website revealed that he trained as an architect originally and is nuts for travelling, drawing and his bike.

My own bike is a bone shaker, so that book speaks to me. His other work includes books,  book bags, tea towels (woop) and, unexpectedly, invitations to Hermes events…
