Affordable geometric rugs
I’ve been hunting around again for affordable rugs. I want something that fits with my room, below – a grey, semi-industrial floor and soft pink walls. I’d like a geometric print to give the room a more modern edge. And I want something big, yo! No doormats here please.

Ooohh I love a mystery. And I love a bit of outsider art. This book, known as The Voynich Manuscript after the rare book dealer who discovered it, appears to combine those two things perfectly.
Bedrooms of the fallen
I read about Bedrooms of The Fallen over the weekend, a hard-hitting war photography project by Australian photographer and writer Ashley Gilbertson. His series of poignant images depict the bedrooms of young soldiers who died in Iraq or Afghanistan, putting into perspective the ages of the deceased and of course the pointlessness of it all.
