Came across this feature in online magazine Rue. It’s about a hip young couple who’ve inherited lots of gorgeous Midcentury Modern furniture from her grandparents. Ready?
Each modern scene has an equivalent photo from the family archives. This lounger actually looks better to me in the pinky fabric.
But points off for the shaggy rug being used as a sofa cover.
Now to me that lovely table has done nothing to deserve that cow-hide rug.
And I can’t shake the conviction that the sideboard should be mine.
