Interiors crystal ball
Just a few days ago I posted a made-up trends list from an online magazine dreamt up by My Friend and myself. On it was Paolozzi prints as wallpaper, an artist I’d just discovered at the time. Eduardo Paolozzi designed, among other things, the wonderful tile murals at Tottenham Court Road tube, mosaics which may or may not survive the current refurbishment of the station.
Well call me Mystic Meg but I was strongly reminded of Paolozzi when I saw LivingEtc’s report on Kirath Ghundoo’s new Mosaic Mix and Match wallpaper collection, below.
Designed to be hung with all the patterns muddled up, they’re nice aren’t they? I may have made my prediction about five years ago but it still counts. It’s the psychic law.
