Tunnel love
Not content that they are now officially on the tube map, the good people of Crystal Palace are currently campaigning to reopen this Victorian subway beneath Crystal Palace Park, which is part of the disused train station. The plan is to transform the tunnel into an arts venue like Shunt at London Bridge.
Designed by architect Edward Middleton Barry, the subway appears to be in good condition (in the pictures), but the entrance is apparently in need of reconstruction to make it stable. If you want to join the campaign to reopen the subway you can sign the petition here.
