Mr Missoni’s input not required
Story taken from the Daily Mail. But the sexism is all my own. Here is a shot of Margherita Missoni’s home, as featured in the Mail today, which proves why wise women tend to ‘give’ their man a whole room to themselves in the house.
The caption reads: “Margherita’s home décor is often influenced by her race car driver husband Eugenio Amos, such as their fireplace featuring a car motor.” Has she never heard of a shed? Although she is from one of Europe’s most illustrious design dynasties, so maybe glass vases and dirty great trophies are a trend that’s just about to hit. What do I know? See the – much nicer – rest of the house here.

I got reminded to tell you about it because of a lovely picture posted by TootAsInFoot. My collection, below, […]
My Friend’s…homes
Before the page opened fully, I thought I was going to be a little bit annoyed to (accidentally) find a blog called My Friend’s Homes. But when the pictures loaded and all I could see were screeds of hipster homes shot in the real reveal style? I loved it! Piles of stuff, scrunched tea towels, cushions […]
The Gourmand
For our anniversary a few months ago, I got my husband a subscription to Stack, which sends you a different independent print magazine every month. It’s brilliant, tell all your friends (owner Steve is also very nice). Month two’s delivery was The Gourmand, ‘a food and culture journal’ that I’d heard of but never read. I […]
