On the spectrum
All this agonising over grey this and that disguises the truth of what my default decorating stance is. My design DNA if you will. Left to my own devices I’ll mindlessly do the same thing again and again – paint it white and arrange things in rainbow stripes. So these pictures have caught my eye. First, dresses by Kostas Murkudis, as seen on Style Bubble.
Then, with perhaps more practical applications, this, a shot from the portfolio of stylist Lo Bjurulf. I’d settle for either the diaphanous rainbow wardrobe, or the cavernous multi-colour kitchen. I ain’t greedy.
While I’m putting up colour-based pics, here’s another two by Lo Bjurulf, who really does have a way with pink. Yes, that infatuation hasn’t died yet either.
Love that kitchen. I knew if I hung on to my bespoke (thanks Dad) seventies kitchen with the orange formica worktops, it would come round again.
Yes – I’ll address that kitchen in a future post on ‘caravan chic’
