Nice an’ white

Finally watched Damien Hirst with a slightly sycophantic Noel Fielding on 4OD last night. I won’t give you my comprehensive review, but Bono as a talking head? Could have done without that. A glimpse of Mat Colishaw’s house in Camberwell got me googling though. Here’s a tour as found on Freunde von Freunden

Originally a pub, the building was later a location for photo shoots, which I once visited. Bit dark and grubby with tons of cheap wallpaper and falling-apart vintage knick knackery is how I remember it. So it’s nice to see it all simple, white and unshowy. Almost makes me warm to Chesterfields too. Almost.

Not to sound nuts, but I happened to drive past it today and saw that mask head in the window, which was pathetically exciting. For another nice shoot of this house, visit here.

Not my post, but yes, I think it was the constant threat of them being sent away to the menders if you so much as looked at the buttons funny x

Something about the way the seats always want to slide you onto the floor for me (knackered ones in pubs). And not in love with the mahogany colour.
