Remember that beautiful Surface View mural I put up in the flat? And the door-sized off-cut I had lingering around for – oooo – a year? Well I finally did something with it. I bought an 80cm by 1m artist’s canvas from eBay for 20 quid, and attached the self-adhesive mural. No swearing this time.

Here it is propped up on my London sofa. It’s now enlivening the little loo in Margate – really tiny room that’s not worth a pic. I’m very pleased with it – but if you’re wondering, no. I couldn’t bring myself to punch a hole in it. I’ll just wait for it to fall on my head while I’m brushing my teeth one day. I like to keep these things organic.
