I’m not sure whether you’ve been following our work over on The Chromologist, but we get to write the loveliest things with the only restriction being that there must be a link to colour. Pretty unrestricting as it turns out.

I wanted to share this story with you from the site, because it’s about a friend, a trend forecasting fellow Scot who begins every text with ‘Yoohoo Jill’ – who does that? I love it. Here is a a brilliant photo that one of her friends snapped of her mid-phone call.

I met Sarah when I wrote about her old house years ago – for Grand Designs mag I think – and was completely bowled over by her original taste. She has since moved very near me and her now house, currently a building site, is going to be more fabulous than the last one most likely.
