I like to move it
… but not much. Thank goodness it’s over. And happy am I in my new flat.
Yes, true to form, I packed a box of favourite things – I’ve had these books in various posts before – to get out and faff around with as soon as I arrived. And going into the garden to cut a rose and what I’m told is a mock orange was the best pleasure of the whole move. I arranged and rearranged to my heart’s content, while the rest of the flat looked like this:
I’ll try to restrain myself from just posting pics of the mantle piece with various things on it, but I can’t make any promises. I’ve never had a mantle piece before. Over the next few months I’ll attempt to wrestle some wallpaper choices to the ground and get together some room reveals, as well as generally agonising in print over shopping choices. But now, for the first time in my adult life, I’m in a house with good TV reception, so I’m off to watch something trashy on ITV2.
happy new home! May your mantle piece bring you endless happiness and your tv reception bring you joy. xx
Thank you! Come over soon – I mean soon. My Friend was praising how tidy it was, but I give it a week.
