I broke the lampshade off my standard lamp this week then walked past Persephone Books on Lambs Conduit Street and saw this:
Could the two be linked? Large lampshade in Black Goose fabric by E. Q. Nicholson, £60. Tempted

LOVE. IT. Buy no Christmas gifts for anyone this year, calmly explaining why you had to have the lampshade instead, I am certain they will understand.
Note: When taking ones [fabulous] interior shots, one must have something more glamorous in the cakestandfruitbowlthing, than old pears [with labels] and 3 bananas. World Of Interiors would have had that brimming with halved pomegranates, ripe plump red grapes and figs. Halved.
Lovely lamp shade. Even more delicious is the address of Persephone Books. Who wouldn’t love to have “a room of their own” on Lambs Conduit Street?
I know, I definitely would…
Old pears and bananas is in the My Friends House guide to styling, along with visible laptop cables, unplumped cushions and Cans of Mr Sheen left lying around. However, you’ve rightly identified that labels should be taken off fruit.
