Dartboards are hot

No, we haven’t got Jim Bowen guest blogging today. But since it’s been about three days since the last one, it’s time for me to boldly pronounce another trend however unlikely. For evidence, firstly set your eyes upon Douglas Coupland’s groovy  Vancouver home. We are both DC fans here, so that probably makes us predisposed to like his house. Come on, don’t you think it’s cool?

That’s Doug right there. My Friend and I once watched him shuffling around awkwardly on a stage at a book signing, that’s how deep our love goes. This is Doug’s second home, which you can read all about  here, and it’s directly behind his first one. He bought it to preserve the midcentury  architecture style. Go Doug. The Target Stack installation by the way, is one of his own. At least three dartboards there.

Onto my next image. A house I’ve shown before, it’s the cabin of stylist Robyn Glaser.* You won’t want to be having a sit down with a game going on in this one.

*Apologies, it’s from an old crinkled tear sheet.

Finally, the dartboard in my house. That counts as evidence at this blog. Can you tell it was hard to get an angle?
