Looking for something else entirely I found these, which bang two particular MFH gongs – the yellow and grey colour scheme, and velvet stuff. I’ve been thinking about velvet for curtains (my flat is freezing) and now these luxurious cushions are calling to me too. Hold the pom-pom though.

They’re from Australian company Castle, a seeming home-spun business run by Rachel Castle and her mum. As well as the cushions they do a nice line in charming flim-flam. Their felt-disc garlands, felt collages and prints look like the kind of thing you could run up yourself on a rainy afternoon, if only you could be arsed. Especially love the triangle pictures, called Isosceles.
