Damn that junk shop at the end of the road. They seem to have a regular supply of battered old bamboo side tables. And I’m getting drawn in. Jill and I have been obsessing over cane furniture, so this faux-Oriental fad is just another step on from it.

The ones at the junk shop are pretty battered, which is the only thing stopping me so far. Then I saw this, which combines bamboo shapes with the gold trend Jill flung in your stunned faces yesterday. It’s from Graham & Green, who it has to be said, give good coffee table. I liked this one too.

I digress. I’ve taken my panda paws to Pinterest and put together a board of bamboo furniture and the kind of rooms it seems to work well in. It looks great in those eclectic, geometric, luxe-y interiors that Domino mag does so well. There’s even a bamboo four-poster bed in there. Wham-bam-boo.
