Bathroom mood board
Here it is, my bathroom. It’s been good, I’ve liked it. The Neisha Crosland wallpaper just seen in the mirror is still my favourite wallpaper in the house. And yet…
…look what’s happened just south of there since we had approximately 6000 days of rain.
As my Mother would say, some people don’t even have a bathroom – and we all know what’s happening down south – so we’ll skip past the part where I moan about the rain damage. Let’s instead crack on with talk of the pending decoration project that’s arisen. Silver linings etc, expensive as they may be.
I’ve been pinning bathrooms madly over on the place that knows not what time is. But actually, the Big Bathroom Redesign has become about changing our currently cramped shower cabin (just seen above with wallpaper on the outside of it) into a big walk-in baby. I keep on looking at this image.
I’m told I can’t have a flat tray and this, with its small step, looks quite seamless to me – though hopefully anything we do can be done without that lip on the step . I think the tray can slope downwards towards the drain. I also love that green shower curtain with the black tiles and brass shower fittings. I just love a swooshy curtain. Here’s a floor finish I’m considering.
Yeh I guess a bog roll basket is acceptable on this blog.
And finally, I wonder if the rough-luxe / polished plaster walls seen in Dick’s lately could be a thing to work with?
Probably not the last you’re going to hear about this.
Love your bathroom ideas. When I redo mine, which is miniscule, my first buy will be a back to the wall loo. No more yucky bits of plastic pipe to clean.
Too funny, am going thru the same thing as have just moved house. Had resisted “the place that know not what time is” up until now as I knew it would be a downward spiral once I entered that world but it is too late now! Here’s my bathroom board and I had also pinned those black floor tiles – great minds… : D
and now with the link…

Ooh it looks really nice, a bit of overlap indeed.
