Somewhere between art, fashion and performance, photographer Anja Niemi features in her own work not once, but often twice, doubled up in post-production as her own twin. There’s lots I find engaging in these claustrophobic, surreal and funny photographs, but for our purposes I’ve chosen a selection that catch my attention for the interiors too.

The frequent clash of pink and red. The Lynchian motif of drapes as a backdrop. The perfect Mid-Century Modern furniture and kitsch ornaments. The lovely clothes. What could it all mean?
