Just back from Dulux’s Let’s Colour Awards at the Fashion and Textile Museum. It was all about who had made an outstanding contribution to colour in the last year. Sadly my name didn’t make the shortlist.

The winners were a mixed bag – round of applause for the Olympic ceremony everyone – but the homes and interiors category threw up a name I didn’t know. These bamboo chairs by Chinese duo W&G are spot on for summer. You feel warm just looking at them. Trend.
